At Jaivik Gram Gaushala, we rear native Indian cow breeds such as Kenkatha, Gir, and Sahiwal.
Our mission is twofold:
1. To address the deep-rooted issue of Anna Pratha (abandonment of unproductive cattle) in the Bundelkhand region, and
2. To place native cows at the heart of natural farming practices.
We believe that indigenous cows are not just an asset to agriculture but also key to restoring ecological balance, preserving traditional knowledge, and building a sustainable rural economy.

We believe that indigenous cows are not just an asset to agriculture but also key to restoring ecological balance, preserving traditional knowledge, and building a sustainable rural economy.
Jaivik Gram, we are committed to sustainable and natural farming practices. We use simple, effective, and locally prepared natural fertilizers such as Jeevamrita, Ghanjivamrit, and Gau Kripmritam, along with natural pesticides like Neemastra and Dashparni Ark. These inputs are not only cost-effective but also safe for the soil, crops, animals, and human health.
In addition, our farming model is built around key sustainable practices:
Use of native seeds
Multi-cropping systems
Mulching for soil moisture retention and weed control
Minimal dependency on external or synthetic inputs
Our efforts are aimed at restoring soil health, reducing input costs for farmers, and creating a self-reliant and regenerative farming ecosystem.
WE at Jaivik Gram, believes in adopting natural farming practices learnt from our ancestors so that there would be less carbon emissions and less use of resources , So in this video, farmers are moving log across the paddy crop for more tillers are minimizing the pest intrusion.
